Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 April 2026

1. Who we are

Crux (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website cruxterminal.com and the Crux platform, an AFL betting analytics service. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our service.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information — your email address when you sign up via email/password or Google OAuth.
  • Payment information — billing details processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers; Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy.
  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, and interactions with the platform, collected to improve the service.
  • Betting activity — bets you manually log in the Trade Desk are stored to provide your performance tracking. This data is yours and is never sold.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide and operate the Crux platform
  • To process payments and manage your subscription
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password resets, receipts)
  • To send service updates and product announcements (you can opt out at any time)
  • To improve the accuracy of our betting analytics model

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate Crux:

  • Supabase — authentication and database. Your email and session data is stored in Supabase.
  • Stripe — payment processing. Card and billing data is handled entirely by Stripe.
  • Google OAuth — if you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares your name and email address with us. We do not receive your Google password.
  • Vercel — hosting. Your requests pass through Vercel’s infrastructure.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (e.g. payment records).

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time

To exercise these rights, contact us at support@cruxterminal.com.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication via Supabase, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies

We use session cookies required for authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Third-party services (Stripe, Google) may set their own cookies subject to their respective privacy policies.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
